Trails End is a self governing, gated recreational (R.V.) community, located in Shohola Township in historic Pike County Pennsylvania, about 75 miles from the George Washington Bridge.  

    While permanent residency is not permitted, the community is open and maintained year-round, and protected by 24 hour a day security patrol. During any season property owners are able to enjoy Trails End and the many attractions for which the Pocono mountain area is famous for.

     There are three swimming pools at Trails End; an Olympic size pool, a heated pool, and a kiddy pool. The pools are open from Memorial Day through Labor Day and are under lifeguard supervision. There is also a teen center with a game room and a sports complex with basketball, handball, shuffleboard, and more.

    A large fully air conditioned clubhouse at Trails End is the center of  the action for all, especially the adults.  Live entertainment is held almost every weekend (during the summer season) offering some of the areas finest entertainers and bands.  Other activities at the clubhouse include bingo, a talent show, a night at the races, and a murder mystery dinner, just to name a few.  Our clubhouse also features an adult lounge and a full service snack bar.

     During July and August of each summer our recreation department hosts structured programs for children of all ages. Children can sign up for activities such as arts and crafts, nature walks, swimming lessons, trips to the movies and much more.

   Trails End is a nature lover's and a sportsman's paradise.  It adjoins State Game Lands and is just minutes away from the Shohola Falls Recreation Area, where-in lies the beautiful Shohola Falls.  There is excellent fishing, boating, bird watching and hiking. Record size fish have been caught in Shohola Creek, noted for its trout.

    Nearby is the historic Victorian village of Milford, winner of an award for its tree-lined streets.  Enjoy antiquing, art galleries, quaint cafes and restaurants.  Summer activities include an international performing arts festival, private walking garden tours and an annual agricultural county fair.
